«A stonemason, Saturn owned a humble workshop by the eastern hills. When the construction of the first siege tower began on the highest hill, Saturn’s stone quarry received a big order. One fine day, he overheard that the architect of the tower would be sealed in its wall for refusing to work: Saturn joined his cause, and put his quarry on a strike. For this crime, he was chained to the load-bearing strut in one of the quarry caves, next to a lit cannonball – and so Saturn was robbed both of justice and life in a rocky tomb.
